Workshop Facilitator | Youth Workshops
Role Description
Lead short, hands-on sessions for boys in our boys mentorship program. Topics include study habits, respect, money basics, health, and calm choices. You guide small groups, keep things safe, and work with staff so each session is clear and useful. You may be asked to lead workshops on topics such as study habits and homework plans, decision-making skills for young men, basic money skills and saving, leadership development for boys, peer support, and more.
Responsibilities
- Keep good order and protect every child in the room
- Track attendance and note wins or concerns
- Coordinate with mentors so group lessons support one-to-one goals
- Help run events at partner sites in Charlotte
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or leading groups (education, financial literacy, leadership)
- Steady schedule, on time, and ready to adjust plans
- Able to follow safety rules and report concerns quickly
