Community Outreach Volunteer
Role Description
As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you’ll help more boys reach our boys mentorship program fast. You meet families, schools, and faith groups, share clear info, collect referrals, and guide people to the right form. You keep records clean, speak with care, and make sure our message feels welcoming to every parent.
Responsibilities
- Represent Prescribe Inc. at school nights, community events, and partner sites
- Share flyers and simple digital posts that explain our youth mentoring work
- Walk parents and counselors through the referral form step by step
- Recruit mentors and direct them to the application and training dates
- Log contacts and outcomes, then send a short weekly update to staff
Qualifications
- Warm, clear communicator who listens first and speaks plainly
- Reliable schedule and comfort with email, text, and simple online forms
- Pass a background check and complete short training
